Flair Diversified Properties focus on the acquisition and management of commercial and industrial buildings for the Flaherty family. Founded by David Flaherty and his father Dennis in 1989, the portfolio began with the purchase of 520 Townsend Street, a multi-commercial and industrial unit in the South of Market (SoMa) area of San Francisco. This became the HQ for Stripe, the online payment startup.
The company has acquired, repurposed, developed and sold a variety of assets including: 920 North Armitage Avenue Chicago and San Francisco’s 400 Alabama Street, 1 Arkansas and 2285 Jerrold Street. One of FDP’s latest companies, Nestory Park, revitalizes abandoned real estate properties through corporate partnerships around impact development. With 150 years of experience between them, Nestory Park’s team is expert at production and planning and brilliant with community engagement.
FDP’s latest projects include the development of 2285 Jerrold St. We are constructing a new building on the 340,000 sq ft space as the first residential & commercial self-storage facility in the history of San Francisco. Once the project is complete, it will bring many opportunities to the city and community.
